- Final Writer uses the Latin-1 character set with a few extra characters in
- the unassigned area 128-160. Included here are typographical quotes which
- are accessible from the normal keymap (very obscure mappings.) It would
- not make sense to remove characters from the encoding just to insert
- quotes and rendering it incompatible with the keymap system. I use
- typographical quotes and fi/fl ligatures with no problem. Obviously the
- spellchecker doesn't quite understand them, it is the same position in
- Word 6.
